DJ Snake is the stage name of William Grigahcine, a US hip-hop DJ and producer from Dallas, United States, who also works as a rapper and electronic music artist. He mixes hip hop and electronic music, and is known for trap, EDM and dance-oriented production.

Career

DJ Snake enters the international scene in 2013 with the singles “Bird Machine” and “Turn Down for What”. “Bird Machine” is a collaboration with French act Alesia and is picked up by Mad Decent, the Los Angeles-based label run by Diplo. In June 2013, Diplo invites him to perform a live mix on “Diplo & Friends” on BBC Radio 1.

He works with Dillon Francis on “Get Low”, which appears on DJ Snake’s official YouTube page in February 2014. He is also named an “Artist To Watch” by FoxWeekly in April 2014 and is announced with Dillon Francis as an alternating supporting act for Skrillex’s Mothership Tour 2014.
