DJ Slow

DJ Slow is a Finnish electronic and hip-hop artist, also known as Vellu Maurola, who begins his professional DJ career at the age of 14. He wins the Finnish DMC mixing championship four times and later works as a music producer and remixer. He also drops the “DJ” from his artist name and performs as Slow.

Work as producer and remixer

Slow produces music and remixes for a range of acts, including Bomfunk MC’s, The Crash and Bodies Without Organs, as well as several Finnish artists. He also works on music and remixes for high-profile brands internationally.

His album Pronto! is released on Plastinka Records in 2006.
