DJ Reza

DJ Reza is a Los Angeles-based DJ and dance music promoter known for his work as a self-taught mixer, event organiser and label founder. He is the founder of Go Ventures, a company that presents dance music events and attracts crowds of around 50,000. He also starts the Saturday Night Sessions record label in 2006, which releases music through digital stores including iTunes, Amazon, Beatport, Napster and Rhapsody.

Style and activity

His sets draw on house, tribal and electro, and he is associated with a flexible, club-focused approach that often includes vocal elements. He has a long background in nightlife and builds relationships with DJs, artists and promoters through that work. He also presents bi-monthly radio shows on Groove Radio and Powertools 105.9 in Los Angeles.

Events and residencies

Reza is closely associated with Monster Massive, where he helps provide the closing finale each year. He also appears as a resident DJ at clubs and events including Avalon in Hollywood, Vinyl in Denver, Empire Ballroom in Las Vegas, Spundae in San Francisco, Rain in Las Vegas, The Love Festival in Hawaii and Los Angeles, Ultra Music Festival during WMC Miami, and Together As One in Los Angeles.

Label work and collaborations

Through Saturday Night Sessions, he releases collaborative records as DJ Reza & Thee-O and DJ Reza & Kid Krazzy. The label functions as a new imprint connected to Go Ventures, and he uses it while touring and producing.

Other work and recognition

In 2009, Reza becomes an official ambassador for Dance4 Life alongside DJs such as Tiësto, Paul Van Dyk, Fedde Le Grande and Robbie Rivera. He also donates music and event proceeds to support awareness of HIV/AIDS.
