DJ KOHL starts DJing in 2008, after first getting into the industrial scene and discovering acts including Lab 4, Yoji, Proteus and Hellraiser. He develops a sound described as hard, dramatic and dark, with dirty, infectious riffs that move from hard NRG to hard dance.

Early work and releases

Kohl’s first mix is HARD GEN 1 : Slave. He also begins writing new tracks after that initial release.

Radio work

In 2009, he joins LiveSetsOnline Radio as a Dark Resident, appearing alongside DJ-X, Lab 4 and Phil York.
