DJ Felix

DJ Felix is a Dutch DJ, identified as Felix van der Linden. He works in house, lounge, disco house, electro and club house, and he begins building his profile in the mid-1990s.

Career

He gets his first major break as a DJ in 1995, when he plays parties during the Cannes Film Festival for Jim Jarmusch, Wim Wenders and Theo Angelopoulos. He then establishes himself at club nights across Paris and later becomes resident DJ at Maxim's.

His work also extends into fashion, where he takes charge of music direction for runway shows by Eric Bergere and Paul & Joe. Compilations associated with Maxim's and Elite on Pschent bring him wider attention and lead to international work in cities including London, Tokyo, New York, Moscow, Marrakech and Berlin. In Berlin, he shares top billing with Kevin Saunderson.

Production and label work

Felix later turns towards his own productions and launches his label, Ouzz Productions. The label work involves writing, composing and singing as part of his output.
