DJ Deeon (Deeon Boyd) is a Chicago DJ and producer associated with Chicago house, house, electronic, ghetto house and ghetto tech. He is based in Chicago and is one of the most prominent and prolific producers of Chicago ghetto house, alongside DJ Funk. He dies in 2023.

Career and releases

DJ Deeon establishes himself with a large and stylistically varied run of releases on Dance Mania. As his music reaches audiences beyond Chicago and outside the United States, it appears on a broader range of labels, including Detroit’s Databass, London’s Cosmic Records, New York’s Booty Bar and Germany’s Le Petit Prince.
