DJ Brockie

DJ Brockie

DJ Brockie is a UK drum and bass and jungle DJ who has been active in the scene since 1988. Before moving into jungle, he plays swing, soul, hip-hop and ragga, among other styles, and then finds hardcore, which leads into his involvement with the rise of jungle.

In 1991, he teams up with friends to establish Kool FM 94.5, a drum and bass radio station that becomes closely associated with the scene. In 1997, he sets up the Undiluted Recordings label with Ed Solo. The label releases a range of material and develops into a long-running imprint linked to both Brockie and Ed Solo.

Brockie is known for a versatile approach as a DJ, adapting sets to different crowds. He performs around the world and is associated with Kool, Det and Undiluted, which helps establish him as a major name in the genre. The act Brockie & Ed Solo is also listed.
