Divine Solace

Divine Solace is a metal band that begins as a project of Ben in early 2008, after the end of his previous band. Joel joins soon after, and Luke, Dan and Jake follow in early 2010, after which the line-up becomes stable and the group begins rehearsing intensively. The band’s sound draws on melodic metal, folk metal and black metal, and also incorporates progressive and classical influences.

The group performs with a focus on live energy and technical ability. It builds its name in the metal scene by playing venues one at a time, and its music also finds an audience among listeners who do not usually listen to heavy music.
