Displaced

Displaced is a drum & bass artist who presents as a six-piece project drawing on industrial, hardcore, electronic, heavy metal, tribal, funk, jazz and alternative music. The act develops a hard-edged hybrid sound and performs live across New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and nearby areas, including Ontario in Canada.

Displaced appears at charity events in support of needy children and families in crisis, and also plays larger shows alongside acts including Default, Theory of a Deadman, Static-X, Powerman 5000, Ill Nino, Otep, Slaves On Dope, Scum of the Earth, Pitbull Daycare and Project 86. Its live activity leads to appearances on television programmes and independent films and documentaries, including WNYO 49 WB News, WGRZ NBC News, Adelphias Crossroads, Music is Art and Why Bother? The project also appears on compilations such as Music Is Art 2003 and The Rise of the Falls, and receives coverage in publications and newspapers including theBeerPit.com, redfeinemag.com, IUMA.com, the Buffalo News, Artvoice and the Niagara Gazette. Its music also receives regular airplay on stations including 103.3 WEDG, 102.1 edge.ca, 92.9 WBUF and KRR Radio.
