Disco Stu
Disco Stu is the electronic music project of Ian Andrews, a Sydney, Australia-based producer and sound artist born in 1961. He is active from the early 1980s and is associated with Australian electronic and experimental music. Andrews also works under names including Cut with Kitchen Knife, The Horse He's Sick, Hypnoblob and Lymph Products.
In the 1990s and early 2000s, Disco Stu releases several albums and tracks through Clan Analogue. Among these is the album Englishman in Ibiza, whose title track uses cut-up speech from a Spanish-language record to create sexually suggestive innuendo. The project is linked with house, techno, acid and electro.
