Dirty Deeds are a British hard rock group active since 1994. For much of their career they use the name Deeds, having first performed and recorded as Dirty Deeds.

History

The band releases a string of albums and receives strong support from Steve Harris of Iron Maiden. Under the Dirty Deeds name, they issue the debut album Danger Of Infection in 1996 and Real World in 1999. In early 2002, they change their name from Dirty Deeds to Deeds, because many listeners assume they are an AC/DC covers band.

Members and background

The central figure in the group is frontman Pete Franklin, who has previously been active with the traditional rock band Chariot. Guitarist Richie Faulkner joins the band in 2001 after earlier membership of Solemn Temple.
