Diet Cig

Diet Cig is an indie pop and pop punk group from New Paltz, New York. The band begins in 2014 and consists of Alex Luciano and Noah Bowman. Luciano fronts the group, while Bowman plays drums and also performs with Earl Boykins. The pair start playing together after Luciano interrupts one of Bowman’s other band sets to ask for a lighter.

Recordings

The group’s recorded debut is the five-track EP Over Easy, released in 2015. It is followed by the double A-side Sleep Talk and Dinner Date. Their first album, Swear I’m Good At This, appears on Frenchkiss Records and is produced, engineered and mixed by Christopher Daly in New York.
