Die Vögel
Die Vögel is a German electro group made up of Jakobus Siebels and Mense Reents. The project brings together Siebels, who has recorded solo albums for Tomlab, Chicks On Speed Records and Karaoke Kalk, and Reents, who is also a member of Egoexpress, Die Goldenen Zitronen and Stella.
Reents operates Art Blakey Studios in Hamburg. Die Vögel’s first release is Blaue Moschee, issued on Pampa Records, the label founded by DJ Koze and Marcus Fink.
The group also attracts attention in German mainstream media.
