Dice

Dice is a Swedish progressive rock group from the 1970s. It is an eclectic prog band from Sweden, and its members are Per Andersson, Robert Holmin, Leif Larsson, Örjan Strandberg and Fredrik Vildö.

The group records as an instrumental progressive act, although one later self-titled album includes vocals. Its music is associated with the style of 1960s and 1970s Swedish progressive rock.

Recordings

Dice records The Four Riders of the Apocalypse in 1977 as an entirely instrumental work. The album draws comparisons with Camel, Focus and King Crimson. In 1978 the group records a self-titled album with vocals, and a live album follows in 1979.

Although the band is little known from its own period, it develops a reputation among progressive rock listeners, particularly in Japan, and its recordings are issued long after the group disappears.
