Destrage

Destrage is an Italian modern metal band from Milano, Italy, active from 2002 to 2024. The group’s line-up includes Gabriel Pignata, Paolo Colavolpe and Federico Paulovich.

The band works across mathcore, melodic death metal, melodic metalcore, metalcore, progressive metal and progressive metalcore. Its sound combines European melodic death metal with American thrash and hardcore influences, alongside rock and roll elements. The result is described as a mix of speed, core, aggressive passages, alternative touches and more introspective sections within melodic, heavy songs.

Destrage releases material on Metal Blade Records and Coroner Records. The band is associated with listeners of In Flames, Soilwork, Nevermore, The Haunted, Darkane and Snot.
