Destiny Potato

Destiny Potato is a Spanish ska and reggae group from Vitoria-Gasteiz, active from 1984 to the present. It is also described as an experimental project centred on Serbian multi-instrumentalist David Maxim Micic, who studied at Berklee College of Music. The line-up associated with the project includes vocalist Aleksandra Radosavljevic, vocalist Aleksandra Djelmash, drummer Milan Jejina Yeqy, bassist Bojan Kvocka and guitarist Dusan Vanja Andrijasevic.

Formation and line-up

The project forms in 2010. At that stage it includes Micic, Radosavljevic and Djelmash on vocals. In 2011, Jejina Yeqy joins on drums and the group says it is working on a debut EP called Lun. Radosavljevic leaves in early 2012 after her relationship with Micic ends. Ana Maglica then joins as the new vocalist, and Kvocka and Andrijasevic are added, completing the line-up.

Releases and name change

Despite the changes in personnel, Destiny Potato releases its debut album Lun in 2014. In 2018, the group changes its name to Sordid Pink and later releases a self-titled album under that name in 2020.
