Desiigner

Desiigner is Sidney Royel Selby III, a hip hop recording artist from Brooklyn, United States, born in 1997. His music is associated with east coast hip hop, hip hop, pop rap and trap. He records on G.O.O.D. Music.

Career

Desiigner first reaches mainstream attention with his debut single “Panda”, which tops the US Billboard Hot 100. The track is later sampled by Kanye West on his album The Life of Pablo. In February 2016, Kanye West announces Desiigner’s signing to G.O.O.D. Music, under Def Jam Recordings.

His debut mixtape, New English, is released in 2016 and receives mixed to negative critical reception. After that, he releases the single “Tiimmy Turner”, which is based on an XXL Freestyle.
