Occupying a space somewhere between ‘60s Psychedelia and the pulsating sounds of future-clubs, Desert Sound Colony is both infectious and ethereal, shrouding the listener in a gentle, rhythmical canopy.
The project’s debut EP, 'The Way I Began', is released October 13th on New York’s Scissor &Thread, the first release on the label from an artist not based in NYC. Desert Sound Colony’s second EP release is due out on the label in early 2015.
