Derecho

Derecho is a female-fronted original rock band founded in Cambridge in 2010. Its line-up includes Jo Ash on vocals and keyboard, Mike Ellis on drums, Mike Wheatley on guitar, and Marc Zyngier on bass.

Activity and performances

The band plays venues across the UK, from pubs to larger stages including The Willow Festival and the 100 Club in London. It also has an online following in several countries and receives airplay on BBC Introducing, US radio stations, and internet radio stations in the US and Europe.
