Deradoorian

Deradoorian is the solo project of Angel Deradoorian, a musician from Los Angeles, United States. Her work spans art pop, indie pop, indietronica, minimal wave, neo-psychedelia and progressive pop, and is also tagged with psychedelic, lo-fi, alternative and indie rock.

Early releases

She releases her debut EP, Mind Raft, under her surname in 2009 on Lovepump United Records. In 2011, she issues a split 7-inch with Albert McCloud, pairing McCloud’s track “Planetarium 2010” with her own song “Marichka”.

Band and group work

Deradoorian is a member of Dirty Projectors, Avey Tare’s Slasher Flicks, Decisive Pink and Black Sabbath Cover Band Rehearsal. She performs with Avey Tare’s project Slasher Flicks alongside former Ponytail drummer Jeremy Hyman, and the group releases Enter the Slasher House in 2014.

Solo albums and EPs

Her debut solo studio album, The Expanding Flower Planet, is released in 2015 on Anticon. In 2017, she issues the EP Eternal Recurrence, which combines obscure and ambient soundscapes. Her second full-length solo album, Find the Sun, is released on Anti in 2020. In 2025, she releases her third solo studio album, Ready for Heaven, on Fire Records.

Decisive Pink

In 2022, Deradoorian forms Decisive Pink with Russian musician Kate NV. The duo releases the album Ticket to Fame in 2023 on Fire Records.
