Demeter Grieving are a duo from Cardiff. Their music focuses on darker electronic sounds and combines emotional, experimental and powerful elements with catchy lyrics and melodies.

Their lyrics deal with LGBT themes, modern relationship issues, drug and alcohol abuse, and the difficulties of everyday life, often drawing on personal experience. Their debut single, Hurting, appears on the Codeine Culture EP. In 2013, BBC Radio DJ Adam Walton describes it as one of the best things he hears that year.

The group also appears in a WalesOnline article by David Owens about notable new music in Wales, where their style is described as darkly brooding electro sounds.
