Delayed Departure are a five-piece alternative rock and post-hardcore group from Farnborough, Hampshire in the United Kingdom. Active since 2011, they develop a sound built around heavy rhythms, melodic vocals and intricate drumming.

The group begins as a casual project before developing into a more professional live act. They play venues including the Joiners in Southampton, the Sanctuary in Basingstoke and Royal Holloway’s Summertime Ball, and they build a dedicated fan base through those shows.

The band releases Consequences and receives strong support and reviews for it. They continue to write and perform new material while expanding their live schedule across different venues.
