Deerful

Deerful is the musical project of Emma Winston, a London-based multi-instrumentalist and singer. Before starting her own work, Winston spends several years as a session keyboard player and vocalist for acts including Darren Hayman, Owl & Mouse and Enderby’s Room. Her solo music is story-led electronic pop, built around miniature synthesisers, with lyrics that deal with running away, staying in place, brokenness, recovery and taking up space in the world.

Her first release, Three Blind Mice, appears on the A Girl And A Gun compilation from Where It’s At Is Where You Are in 2015. Later that year she self-releases the Christmas song City Bells. In 2016, she releases the 7-inch single Moon Maps/Hush Me on Where It’s At Is Where You Are, followed by the cassette EP Staying Still and the charity single Without Borders.
