Deer Park

Deer Park is a London indie band active from 200? to 2015. It is also described as an indie folk group based in London, with members Mark Christopher Grassick on vocals and guitar, Ian Olney on guitar, Ryan Kalkman on bass, and Hiro Amamiya on drums.

Band releases and collaborations

The band releases a self-titled debut album in October 2009. The record is produced by Paul Hollingsworth of Gold Future Joy Machine and includes guest appearances by Paul Megna of The Oxygen Ponies, Randi Russo, Mark Andrew Hamilton of Woodpigeon, and Tom Lewis of Stagecoach. A limited edition EP follows in April 2011.

Performances and connections

Deer Park shares stages with Cracker, Harper Simon, The Acorn, John Vanderslice, The Fruit Bats, Ted Leo and others. It also plays a WagonWheel show at The Grapes.

The name Deer Park is also used in other contexts, including a musician and producer from New York and a two-piece ambient indie band from Auckland, New Zealand.
