Deer Chicago are an American pop rock and jazz fusion group from Chicago, United States. The band is active from 1967 to the present and is known for a broad sound that spans AOR, jazz, jazz rock, pop, pop rock and rock.

Formation and style

The group forms in Chicago and develops a line-up that includes Terry Kath, Peter Cetera, Danny Seraphine, Robert Lamm, Lee Loughnane, James Pankow and Walter Parazaider, alongside later members including Laudir de Oliveira, Donnie Dacus, Chris Pinnick, Bill Champlin, Jason Scheff, Dawayne Bailey, Tris Imboden, Keith Howland, Drew Hester, Lou Pardini, Daniel de los Reyes, Walfredo de los Reyes, Jr. and Neil Donell.
