Deepack

Deepack is a Dutch hardstyle duo made up of Marcel van der Zwan and Frank Pechler. The pair begin producing together after meeting after high school in the early 1990s. Their work is rooted in electronic and hardstyle music, and they are also associated with hardcore and techno.

Career

Deepack develops a close connection with Q-Dance and produces the anthem for Qlimax in 2003, the company’s major event. They also collaborate with a range of hardstyle acts, including D-Block & S-te-Fan, Showtek and The Prophet.

Hardcopy Recordings and Dock 45

In 2006, Deepack founds the label Hardcopy Recordings. Releases on the label include work by Josh & Wesz and the Stereotuners. In 2010, they produce a remix of the Q-Dance party In Qontrol anthem under the alias Dock 45, a name they use for their house music releases.
