Dee Rae

Dee Rae is a Manchester-based indie folk artist from the United Kingdom, born in 2001. They are also a member of babygenius. Their work centres on vulnerable songwriting and direct storytelling, with a sound shaped by indie folk and influences from Laura Marling, Snail Mail, Marika Hackman and Big Thief.

Dee Rae performs live across the UK, including London, Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool, and also gives performances outside the country, with a gig in Paris marking their international debut. They have shared stages with Francis of Delirium, Katy Kirby, Allegra Krieger and The Orielles.

Social media plays a significant role in their following, helping to build a dedicated audience around their honest and inclusive approach. In 2023, Dance to the Radio invites them to perform at Live at Leeds Festival, and they also receive backing from Now Wave, SJM and Form.
