Deborah De Luca

Deborah De Luca is a DJ and producer from Napoli, born in 1980, associated with dance, electronic, peak time techno and techno. She grows up in the Scampia area on the outskirts of Naples and begins her working life in nightlife, first as a waitress and then as a dancer. She later moves to northern Italy for compulsory education and starts studying fashion design, but turns towards music through her interest in club culture.

Career

After returning to Naples, she meets Giuseppe Cennamo, a Neapolitan DJ and producer, and through him deepens her knowledge of new genres and trends. Her style develops with a stronger sense of shape and charisma, combining hard techno and minimal elements. She is described as a self-made figure who builds her career through practical work in the scene before establishing herself as a producer and performer.

Solamente Records

In March 2013, she founds Solamente Records, also written as Sola_mente Records. The label works with producers including Dj Simi and Giorgio Rusconi.

Music and reputation

Her tracks receive support from several established DJs, including Magda, Dj Ralf, Someone Else and Layo & Buswaka.
