Deathmachine is a UK hard dance and industrial hardcore DJ and producer. Born in 1976, he develops a style rooted in hardcore, gabber, darkcore and crossbreed.

Background

He becomes interested in hard dark music in the early 1990s, when the then-new hardcore scene captures his imagination. He attends major UK rave events over the following years and develops a strong connection to the sound.

DJing and production

He starts DJing in 1998 and gradually builds a distinctive approach. His sets are dancefloor-focused but include an experimental edge, and this leads to bookings from major promoters across the UK.

He begins producing in 2001, aiming to combine energy, rawness and a continuing dark atmosphere in his music.

Releases and performances

He releases music on several respected industrial hardcore labels, including Deathchant, Rebelscum and Pacemaker. He also plays at many events across Europe.
