Deathcrush
Deathcrush is a Japanese drummer. The name is also used by several different bands, including a black metal project first formed in Libya in 2012 by Ahmed and Khalil, who later move to Ukraine and meet drummer Andrey before relocating to the Netherlands and Germany. That group draws inspiration from the Scandinavian black metal scene and gives its only live performance in February 2020 as a special set during a Defacement show, playing two Deathcrush songs. Another act with the same name is a Japanese black metal band described as dissonant, suffocating and noisy, with an influence set that includes Black Witchery and S.O.B. The name is also attached to a brutal death metal band from Mexico formed in 2002, an Italian brutal death metal band from Sardinia formed in 2003, and a noisy alternative rock trio from Oslo, Norway.
