Death Remains
Death Remains are a metal band from London, active since 2010. They are originally called After Death and form as a five-piece group.
Background
The band begins soon after three original members — Marc Yacas, Barry O' Connor and Leon Villalba — study together at St Aloysius Secondary School and share similar musical interests. The early line-up includes Yacas on lead guitar, O' Connor on drums and backing vocals, and Villalba on rhythm guitar.
Line-up and sound
Death Remains feature Barry O'Connor on vocals, Marc Yacas and Eljay Lambert on guitars, Gaz Martinez on bass, and Jai Patel on drums. Their sound combines melodic metalcore and metalcore elements, and the band describes itself as a metal act.
Performances and releases
The group plays venues in London including The Underworld and The Scala, and also performs in Brazil. In May 2009, under the name After Death, they launch the EP Eulogy at the Purple Turtle in Camden with Decadencia X promoters. The event raises money for leukaemia awareness through extra merchandise sales.

The band invites listeners to buy merchandise, download music and attend shows, and uses the contact address death-remains@hotmail.co.uk for bookings and press enquiries.
