dearALICE
dearALICE are a UK pop boy group formed in 2023 through South Korean agencies SM Entertainment and Kakao Entertainment, alongside British television company MOON&BACK MEDIA. The group is active from 2023 and is signed to gamma, a US-based record label.
Members
The group initially consists of five members: Reese Carter, Dexter Greenwood, Blaise Noon, James Sharp and Oliver Quinn. It later becomes a four-piece after James Sharp leaves.
Name
The group takes its name from a restaurant in Itaewon. The word “dear” is described as representing a letter to fans, while “ALICE” stands for “A Love I Can’t Explain”.
Screen project and releases
In 2024, the group appears in Made in Korea: The K-Pop Experience, a reality series shown on BBC One and iPlayer. A six-track soundtrack album, Made in Korea: The K-Pop Experience (Original TV Soundtrack), follows and reaches number one on the UK Official Soundtrack Albums Chart.
Their debut single is “Ariana”, produced by SIBA and co-written by Eyelar Mirzazadeh. It is followed by “Sweet” and “Save Us” in 2025, and by the debut EP bitterSWEETsummer.
Touring and later music
dearALICE undertakes its first UK tour in 2025, with dates in Cardiff, London, Newcastle upon Tyne and Manchester. In 2026 the group releases “Body On”, featuring SWEET REVENGE x Enola Bedard, and a boys version of the track.
