Background
The group forms around drummer Mark Greening, who has also played in Electric Wizard, Ramesses and With the Dead, and vocalist Virginia Monti, who is also associated with Psychedelic Witchcraft. The project takes the name Dead Witches and works within doom-leaning stoner and psychedelic metal.
Releases and style
The band issues recordings under the Dead Witches name and has made material available through Bandcamp. Their sound is described in terms of vintage-leaning, hypnotic psych metal with a strong occult atmosphere.
