Dead Congregation

Dead Congregation are a Greek death metal group from Athens, active since 2004. They form around a particular approach to death metal that emphasises feeling, spirit, atmosphere and quality. Since forming, they have released two full-length albums, two EPs and a split 7-inch with Hatespawn.

The band runs its own label, Martyrdoom Productions, and is associated with Norma Evangelium Diaboli. Their full-length album Promulgation of the Fall appears in 2014, and the EP Sombre Doom appears later in 2016.

Dead Congregation also build a reputation through live shows and share stages with a range of metal acts, including Sodom, Interment, Deströyer 666, Incantation, Grave Miasma, Primordial, Gorgoroth and Watain.
