Dead Bob is the solo project of John Wright, best known as the drummer in the punk band No Means No. The project comes from British Columbia and sits within punk and punk rock, while also drawing on the broader, hard-to-box-in approach associated with Wright’s earlier work.

Solo work and debut release

Life Like is the first album Wright releases under the Dead Bob name. The record includes a No Means No cover and is largely written and performed by Wright, with help from several friends. He records and produces the album in British Columbia.
