Dawin is a Brooklyn-born American rapper, singer and producer who is born in 1990. He first gains recognition by posting a six-second snippet of his debut single on Vine, where the sample is then used in a number of other videos. That online attention leads to a record deal with Republic Records in 2014.

His debut single is “Just Girly Things”, released in 2014. The track peaks at number two on the iTunes Electronic chart in April 2015. He is best known for “Dessert”, a 2015 single that reaches over 70 million views on YouTube and peaks at number 6 on the Official New Zealand Music Chart.
