David Campbell is an Australian singer and entertainer from Adelaide. He is the son of Jimmy Barnes, who often performs with him.

Career

Campbell builds a career across musical theatre, recording and broadcasting. After several years working on the New York stage, he returns to Australia in 1999 to play Johnny O'Keefe in Shout!, the rock’n’roll musical that becomes a major success.

He receives top musical honours at the 2006 Helpmann Awards, winning Best Male Actor in a Musical for Sunset Boulevard. His stage work is recognised by a range of awards.

Recording and media work

Campbell has a platinum album, The Swing Sessions. In 2005, he co-hosts Australia's Top 20 Countdown on VH1 and also presents Sydney radio station Nova 96.9 FM’s Arse About Countdown. He also appears in the television series Dancing With The Stars.
