Dave Goulder is a British singer, guitarist, composer, humorist, dry stone wall builder, mountain climber and former railway fireman from Derbyshire, United Kingdom. Born in 1939, he leaves the railway in 1961 and later begins mountaineering while also recording his first folk records in the late 1960s.

He is best known for the song “January Man”, which he records with Liz Dyer under the name Dave Goulder & Liz Dyer. He also becomes known for collections of railway songs that receive critical appreciation from both reviewers and enthusiasts.
