Dauwd

Dauwd is a London-based electronic producer associated with dubstep, future garage and lo-fi house. Raised in Wales, he learns piano, guitar and drums before moving into electronic production. His music develops from an early interest in tablature into a focus on sequencing and detailed percussive textures.

His work is built from found sounds, layered synthesizers, and short vocal and instrumental stabs, arranged into evolving passages with driving percussion and carefully produced bass. He describes his process as starting with a sound, texture or moment that feels relatable, then developing a narrative from there.
