Danton

Danton is a German heavy metal group active from 1986 to 1988. It releases one album, Way Of Destiny, and is fronted by Peter Dirkschneider, who later founds the heavy metal band Vanize. Peter Dirkschneider is also the brother of Udo Dirkschneider, the former singer of Accept.

The name is also used by other acts, including a German screamo/post-hardcore trio from Wuppertal and an English DJ based in London, but the metal group is the one linked to the 1988 album.
