Danny Cook is an American singer and songwriter from Clarksdale, Mississippi, known as the “King of Soul.” He is born in 1931 and dies in 1964.

Career

Cook sings and writes in gospel, pop soul, R&B, soul, southern soul and traditional pop. His work is also associated with folk and blues. He is active with The Soul Stirrers, The Highway Q.C.’s and The Pilgrim Travelers.
