Daniel Brandt is a Swedish multi-artist from Lund Municipality, born in 1979. He makes music with an emphasis on mood and atmosphere, working across instrumental fantasy and soundtrack-like pieces, experimental sample-based composition, and more intense electronic material with aggressive vocals in the areas of EBM, futurepop and industrial music.

Early releases

His early work includes The Organ Works!, a highly experimental project built around organs in different shapes and sizes integrated into modern music. He later re-records and updates this material as The Re-Recorded Organ Works, which he makes available free on his homepage. Another early release, The Chorus Lives!, presents experiments in vocals and musical storytelling in a collection that moves between EBM and ambient.

Later work

Brandt’s later releases include the Magic series, with Traces of Magic described as the latest collection in that group. He also releases Past The Future EP, a retro-futuristic electronic record that uses clearer electronic textures than his earlier work and vocals that recall both past and current EBM, futurepop and industrial styles. That EP follows Programmable Future Editable Past, a collection of older experimental music.

Neurobash

Since late 2005, Brandt is a member of Neurobash. He first remixes for the band, then begins arranging and writing material with the rest of the group and performs synthesizers and backing vocals live.
