Dan Walsh is a UK banjo player, singer and guitarist. His playing brings together folk, funk, bluegrass, jazz, rock and Arabic influences. He performs both as a solo artist and with Walsh & Pound and The Urban Folk Quartet.

Career

He performs across the UK at festivals, theatres and folk clubs. Venues and events associated with his work include the Southbank Centre, the Sage Gateshead, Broadstairs Folk Week, Solfest, Towersey, Sidmouth Folk Week and London’s Barbican.

Recordings and style

His debut CD is Tomorrow’s Still To Come.
