Dan Bodan

Dan Bodan is a Berlin-based electronic pop songwriter who was born in the Canadian prairies and raised in Montreal. He writes pop songs that sit between bedroom production and club music, with a sound that also moves between the physical and the abstract.

His work is described as a blend of pop, electronic and indie-pop elements, with a focus on atmosphere and strong vocal melodies. He collaborates with a team of producers, poets and artists in shaping his recordings.

Among his better-known songs is “What’s So New”, which pairs a sweet, echoing male vocal with slow, tropical-tinged backing. The track also has a hypnotic video by artist Dena Yago.
