Damian Lazarus

Damian Lazarus is a DJ, producer and A&R based in London, United Kingdom. He releases music on Crosstown Rebels and is associated with electronic, house and tech house.

Recording and labels

He releases studio albums as Damian Lazarus & The Ancient Moons, including Smoke the Monster Out and Message from the Other Side. His singles and compilations also appear on City Rockers, Get Physical, Crosstown Rebels, Soma and Fabric.

As former head of A&R for the UK label City Rockers, he signs and helps release tracks such as Felix's Silver Screen, Tiga's Sunglasses and Coloursound's Fly With Me. City Rockers is voted Label of the Year at the end of 2002, and the compilations Futurism 1 and Futurism 2, which he compiles and mixes, appear in many music publications' albums of the year lists.

DJ work

Lazarus gets a major DJ break in 2002 when he is invited to play at Sónar Festival in Barcelona. By 2003, he holds residencies at Circo Loco at DC10 in Ibiza, Polar TV in Berlin, The Loft in Barcelona and 21st Century Bodyrockers in London.
