Dallas Don’t are a band from Oxford, UK. They formed in 2010 through mutual loves of music, publishing and Drowned In Sound. Influences include Pixies, Idlewild, Constantines, Titus Andronicus, Mclusky, Hefner, Los Campesinos!, Sleater-Kinney, Tyler and Purple Munkie.
The name is not a reference to the large southern US city (or to the 80’s TV show), but relates to the Dallas Dhu (pron. ‘do’) whisky distillery and museum, near where singer Niall grew up (it’s home to some scary waxworks and free wee drams).
