Daithi

Daithí Ó Drónaí, also known in English as Daithí Droney, is an Irish bassist and violist associated with electronic music and the electronic synthesised fiddle. He comes to national prominence in Ireland after appearing on the first series of The All Ireland Talent Show in 2009, where he reaches the final and finishes in sixth place.

After that television appearance, he appears on several other television series and performs in cities including Cork, Dublin and Galway. He also plays at the Electric Picnic 2009 and Castlepalooza 2010 music festivals. He features in the Sky 1 programme Must Be the Music.

His music is associated with the track “Dust”.
