Daire

Daire is an Irish house act that begins in 2004 with a different line-up. The project develops a deliberately mixed style, drawing on rock, pop, hardcore, folk, punk, classical, 8-bit, comedy, heavy metal, electro, jazz, country, jungle and funk alongside house.

Releases and recording

The group issues its first DIY demo in 2005. In 2007 it follows with a produced split CD, Escape from 21st Century, released by Chumsley Records and distributed worldwide by ProSonic and Lady Music. The release is recorded by Nicola “Valentino” Valente at Home Studio and mixed by Daniele “Brian” Autore of Vanilla Sky.

Activity and line-up

After more than 30 shows in 2007, Daire continues with a 2008 promo release while working on a full-length record. Alberto joins as the band’s new singer.
