DaGamba

DaGamba is an instrumental group from Latvia, formed in Rīga in 2011 by three childhood friends and trained musicians: Valters Pūce, Antons Trocjuks and Ričards Čerenkovs. The line-up consists of two cellists and one electric beat-cellist.

The group’s music combines experimental and instrumental elements with symphonic rock, and it draws on rock, hip-hop and classical music. Cello is central to its sound, with most of the music and effects built from cello-based playing and sampled cello beats.
