Daddy's Groove is a group active since 1995 and based in London, United Kingdom. It is made up of Andy Cato and Tom Findlay. The act works in electronic and dance-oriented styles including alternative dance, big beat, downtempo, electropop and funky house.

Background

Daddy's Groove is also described as an Italian house music group formed in Naples in 2006, with Carlo Grieco, Gianni Romano and Peppe Folliero as its members. The group develops a house-based sound and is associated with club and progressive house contexts.

Collaborations and releases

In mid-2011, the group begins collaborating with David Guetta after being recommended by a mutual friend to remix his music. Their single Turn The Lights Down gains wider attention when David Guetta reworks it. The track is released in 2012. At the start of 2013, the group begins producing new music at a regular pace, with one track a month for Spinnin' Records or Doorn Records, Sander van Doorn's label.

Performances

The group DJs internationally, with appearances in Spain, Denmark, Russia, France, Sweden, Switzerland and Poland, among other places. They also play at club events including F*ck me I’m Famous at Pacha in Ibiza and Miami, Masquerade Motel at Pacha in Ibiza, and Amnesia in Ibiza.
